The Vellore Institute of Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) to be conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has extended its application date till March 15. According to a report, Founder and Vice-Chancellor of VIT G. Viswanathan said, “exams would be held from April 9 to April 19 at 119 centers across the country.”

The candidates should have cleared 10 + 2/intermediate with 60 per cent (50 per cent in case of SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology candidates, who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are alone eligible to apply.
The duration of the VITEEE entrance exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
All questions will be of objective types:
PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) -120 questions (each 40 questions)
PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)-120 questions (each 40 questions).
Last year about 1.94 lakh candidates appeared for entrance exams conducted for engineering courses offered by the deemed university.
Date of VITEEE: Thursday April 9 to Sunday April 19.
