1) IIT Roorkee
Ingrained in the heart of Roorkee, one of the oldest cities of India, is located the most prestigious institution “IIT Roorkee”. The look and feel of the campus is quite academic and it is calm in its own way. IIT Roorkee strongly believes in the old Indian adage “Athithi Devo Bhava”.
IIT Roorkee offers a British-style administrative block which was established in the 1850’s, which reflects a glimpse of British architecture . This engineering college has a green campus which encompasses good roads along with many huge trees, nice pedestrian walkways, gardens etc. The campus houses a temple, church and mosque reflecting all religions inside the campus. It also beset a four-storeyed library and hostels which are 7-8 storeys high.
IIT Roorkee possess its own army headquarters inside its campus, and offers synthetic basketball courts, a cricket ground, football ground, hockey grounds, lawn tennis courts and an Olympic size modern swimming pool for sports lovers. It also has an army quarters inside the campus as well for NCC practice.
2) University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Bidholi
If you wish to breathe in the fresh air enjoying the beauty of Mussoorie range mountains then UPES is the place. Due to its proximity in mountain valley, campus is untouched from the pollution of the rest of the Dehradun city. The campus being located in Dehradun which is famous for its picturesque landscape and slightly milder climate and provides a gateway to the surrounding region. It is well connected and in proximity to popular Himalayan tourist destinations such as Mussoorie, Nainital, Auli and the Hindu holy cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh along with the Himalayan pilgrimage circuit of Char Dham.
3) Quantum Global Campus, Roorkee

5) Dehradun Institute of Technology
DIT is situated on Dehradun-Mussoorie Highway at the foothills of the Himalayas. It was established in 1998 and is one of the oldest technical colleges in Dehradun. The green Mussoorie hills add charm to the campus. The climate of Dehradun and a well-equipped campus make it a perfect place to study. The entire campus has landscaping with green grass, ornamental plants, and shady trees making the campus very green and beautiful.
